Daytime School & Home Care – Upper Saddle River, NJ

Location: Upper Saddle River, NJ Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing Company: Affirmed Home Care

Provide meaningful, relationship‑based 1:1 pediatric care for a bright and active 6‑year‑old who benefits from skilled nursing support throughout the day. Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a consistent daytime schedule in Upper Saddle River, NJ .

This role includes both home care and school‑day support , offering steady hours and the opportunity to build a long‑term, supportive relationship with the child and family.

⭐ Schedule

Consistent daytime coverage:

• 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Child attends school 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Nurse provides care before school, during school hours, and after school until 6 PM.

⭐ About the Case

• Pediatric patient: 6‑year‑old

• Requires supportive daytime nursing care

• School‑day monitoring and assistance

• Engaged, supportive family

• Stable, predictable schedule

⭐ What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 pediatric care focused on safety, comfort, and daily support

• Assist with morning routine, school preparation, and safe transportation

• Provide nursing oversight during school hours

• Support after‑school care, monitoring, and routine needs

• Collaborate with the family and our pediatric clinical leadership team to ensure consistent, high‑quality care

⭐ Pay Rates

• RN: $45/hr

• LPN: $40/hr

⭐ What You Bring

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN License

• Preferred pediatric experience (home care or school‑based care)

• Current BLS Certification

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Physical exam within 12 months

• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X‑ray within 5 years)

• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
