As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Response in Sandy Springs, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming, security-related environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at an automotive manufacturing or dealership location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicle movements in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and policy violations through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
