Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Denver, Colorado Hybrid
Work Arrangement: Hybrid Onsite every Tuesday
Contract Duration: October 1, 2026 July 31, 2027
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM MST

We are seeking a mid-level IT Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience to support vendor-delivered technology projects and internal application initiatives.
The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, project teams, and IT teams to gather and document requirements, coordinate testing activities, support application releases, develop communication and training plans, and assist with production support.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary Business Analyst for vendor-led technology projects.
Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements meetings.
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Convert business needs into clear and testable:
Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
User Stories
Use Cases
Acceptance Criteria
Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Validate project scope, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
Develop or support communication plans for application releases and system changes.
Partner with business owners to develop training plans and training materials.
Support train-the-trainer activities, scheduling, job aids, and end-user communications.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scripts, execution, feedback, and defect tracking.
Track defects and coordinate with technical/vendor teams through resolution.
Gather and refine requirements for application enhancements and smaller technology projects.
