Sentara Lake Ridge is hiring a Full Time/Night Shift Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator! Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator- Freestanding Emergency Department Full Time & Night Shift
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Education: RN-Bachelor’s Degree RN-Master’s Degree Certification/Licensure Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing. ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire BLS within 90 days of hire Required Qualifications: 18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required. Preferred 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator/RNUC - Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff.
