Job Summary The Acuity Brands Mechanical Engineering Leadership Program is a two‑year rotational experience designed to develop high‑potential early‑career talent into impactful professionals. LPs rotate to a different functional area every six months to build business acumen and skill proficiency. This position works in various U.S. locations and starts employment on January 12, 2026. Key Responsibilities New Product Development Sustaining VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering) Manufacturing (Crawfordsville, IN) Optical Engineering Light Engine Engineering Outsourced Product Development Product Support Tech Support Post Sales Model Shop Project Management Labs & Certifications Sourcing Qualifications Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated problem‑solving and time‑management skills Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Availability to travel up to 20% Leadership experience influencing change, people, and processes (highly preferred) Team‑oriented with a drive to take initiative (highly preferred) Less than two years of related work experience (highly preferred) Compensation & Benefits The range for this position is $55,300.00 to $99,500.00. Placement within this range may vary depending on applicant experience and geographic location.
