Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer Job Purpose This position will work with Senior Process Engineers, responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the Chemical and/or Mechanical Process areas to produce state-of-the-art printed circuit boards. Nature of Duties Applies sound engineering principles and disciplines in order to understand and minimize the variability associated with the various processes and finished product attributes. Defines operating procedures and SPC methods to assist operators in production environment. Evaluates product and process capability, equipment reliability, process utilization and process cost opportunity while implementing improvements. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering. 1+ years of related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is desired but not a requirement for this position. Knowledge of SPC principles as well as statistical representation of data and process/product variability required. Project management skills and strong written/verbal communication skills are required.
