Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health

Location: Orlando, FL and N. Vero Beach, FL
Employment Type: 1099 Contract / Per Visit
Compensation: $50-(Private and $55 (Medicare) per visit

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The ideal candidate will help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services according to the established Plan of Care 
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, endurance, and balance 
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes 
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team 
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques 
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, Medicare, and agency regulations 

Qualifications:

• Active Florida license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) 
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience preferred 
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule 
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) 
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and documentation standards 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
