Job Description

If you are a dedicated Audiologist seeking a contract opportunity working with students from preschool through 12th grade, this role offers the perfect blend of onsite engagement and service across multiple campuses. Based primarily at a central academy location, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference for students districtwide, providing both diagnostic and consultative audiological support.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive audiological evaluations, services, and follow-up care for students, most of whom are bussed into the central campus or nearby sites
• Traveling occasionally to additional campuses for troubleshooting or specialized sessions as needed
• Collaborating closely with the districts DHH Coordinator and itinerant hearing support teachers to ensure students' needs are met efficiently
• Managing a caseload of about 50 students, with a smaller weekly schedule to balance hands-on and consultative responsibilities
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records in accordance with school, district, and professional standards

Ideal candidates possess:

• A Master's degree in Audiology
• ASHA certification (or waiver as applicable)
• State licensure to practice Audiology and fit/repair hearing aids
• At least five years of experience in school settings or equivalent pediatric environments
• Ability to pass required fingerprinting and background checks
• Strong communication skills, organizational expertise, and a collaborative approach

This is a contract position, requiring 32 onsite hours weekly during the academic year, from now through the end of May. Your primary base will be the specialized academy, but flexibility for periodic travel to school cluster campuses is essential.
