Job Description Summary PRN Certified Nurse Midwife - AHMG OBGYN and Midwifery at Castle Rock Pay: $180 for 24/7 call shift; $78.44 per hour when patient facing. Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities Assessment of patient health status through physical exam, reviews patient history, diagnostic tests and procedures, and review labs and other critical data. Assess, diagnose, treat, and perform routine physicals. Determine patient and family needs during initial assessment, provides services in accordance with hospital and clinic health services policies. Consult with supervising physician when needed regarding treatment plan. Recognize and identify life‑threatening situations, responding with immediate action according to protocol. Provide patient care in the clinic setting and Labor & Delivery. What You Will Need Certified Nurse Midwife – must have successfully completed undergraduate and master’s level‑nursing programs from an accredited school of nursing and passed state licensing exam. Minimum 3+ years of clinically relevant Certified Nurse Midwife experience. Current, valid State of Colorado license. National Nurse Practitioner certification by either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or become certified within five (5) years of completion of master’s degree. And, as applicable: the National Certification Corporation (NCC). American Heart Association certifications: BLS.
