Cleaner, Atrea, 2 Positions

Cleaner – Two (2) Positions Atrea Early Learning Center – 8 hrs/day, 12 months/year – Mon‑Fri 3:00pm‑11:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform routine building cleaning duties of both interior and exterior of the building. Clean and sanitize bathrooms; dust and polish chairs, tables, desks and other furniture. Sweep, mop, wash, wax and vacuum floors; paint interior and exterior of building. Keep sidewalks clean in summer; leaf removal in fall; ice and snow removal in winter. Receive, move and store supplies for building occupants; arrange chairs, tables and other equipment for special use of the building. Wash windows, both interior and exterior, walls and woodwork; replace light bulbs; make minor repairs; operate floor machinery, snow blowers and other duties as needed. Possess excellent people skills. Compensation & Benefits Step 1 ($23.59 per hour) – Step 5 ($25.53 per hour). Collective bargaining agreement under CSEA. Certifications / Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience in building cleaning. Good working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Ability to understand and carry out both verbal and written directions. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Exhibit thoroughness, good judgement, mental alertness, tact and courtesy. Physical condition commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
