Product Quality & Compliance Manager (Consumer Products)

A growing consumer goods organization in the Greater Philadelphia / South Jersey market that is seeking a Product Quality & Compliance Manager to join its team. This position requires direct experience within the juvenile products, home goods, toys, housewares, or broader consumer goods industry. This highly visible role is responsible for leading product quality, compliance, product safety, supplier quality, testing, validation, and customer compliance initiatives across a diverse portfolio of juvenile products, home goods, toys, housewares, and other consumer products sold through retail and e-commerce channels. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of product testing, certification, labeling, supplier quality management, and consumer product compliance requirements, including CPSIA, ASTM, CPSC regulations, Prop 65, GCC/CPC documentation, and related product safety standards. We are seeking a hands‑on leader who enjoys building scalable processes, developing teams, solving complex product quality and compliance challenges, and partnering cross‑functionally with Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, and external testing and regulatory partners. Ideal candidates will bring: 8+ years of experience in product quality, compliance, product safety, supplier quality, or quality assurance within consumer products Direct experience supporting juvenile products, home goods, toys, housewares, or similar retail consumer product categories Strong knowledge of CPSIA, ASTM, CPSC, Prop 65, GCC/CPC, testing protocols, product certification, and labeling requirements Experience leading testing, validation, audits, corrective actions, and compliance programs Experience supporting products sold through major retail and e-commerce channels Proven people leadership and cross‑functional influence, with a hands‑on, ownership‑oriented approach to driving quality, compliance, and product safety initiatives.
