We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for our client in the Fermentation Products Manufacturing domain. Duration: Full-time

Location: Wahpeton, ND

Salary: $100,000-$120,000/Annually

Role Description: The Project Engineer must have 7+ years of experience. Our client is a leading supplier of fermentation products (yeast, nutrients, antimicrobials and enzymes), produced for biofuels and distilled spirits, as well as a provider of technical support and education, to alcohol producers around the world.

Project Engineer/Project Manager

In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all Capital improvement projects at this site.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

- Managing a Capital Expenditure budget of several million dollars.

- Directing the activities of external contractors

- Ensuring that projects are executed safely, on time and on budget

- Developing a multi-year plant strategic improvement plan

- Estimating future project costs and project benefits; presenting justification for your plans

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of relevant manufacturing equipment and processes

- A proven track record of managing complex projects and third-party contractors

- Knowledge of safety regulation and good practices.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
