Job Description Summary Position Responsibilities Prepare federal and state/local income and franchise tax returns and supporting documentation including book/tax differences. Coordinate, gather, and analyze supporting data from internal and external resources to prepare tax returns and/or submit to third-party service providers Prepare estimate tax payments, extensions, and cash tax forecasts Prepare monthly, quarter-end, and year-end income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and SOX mandates Assist with the consolidation of worldwide income tax provision and related tax disclosures for public filings including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K Respond to inquiries from federal, state, and local taxing authorities Assist with fixed asset accounting including reconciliation of book/tax roll forwards Research, interpret, and document federal and state/local tax issues through emails and formal memoranda Support automation and data-related initiatives for income tax matters Assist with tax planning and consulting opportunities including acquisition accounting Assist with global transfer pricing compliance and reporting May also assist with non-income tax matters as they arise Requirements Education & Experience: 3-5 years of federal and/or state corporate income tax experience with a CPA firm or a corporate tax department CPA or on path to CPA preferred Strong skills in Federal and multi-state corporate income tax compliance and ASC 740 Must be proficient using ONESOURCE Income Tax and Microsoft Excel Experience with Alteryx and Oracle is a plus Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills Physical Demands Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $98,573.00 - 135,537.60 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
