American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position requiring 2 years of Trauma ICU experience, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.

Active FL or compact RN license required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience required
Degree accreditation must be documented, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Trauma SICU setting within a hospital
12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Patient ratios of 2:1
Required to administer drips and medications including Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Cardene, Cleviprex, Levophed, Insulin, Dopamine, and Nitro
Uses Epic EMR
Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
No on-call responsibilities
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency and property ownership
Travelers are expected to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as RTO will not be approved after submission or offer
Orientation begins on a Friday, with remote orientation components and an in‑person visit required for badge/ID
Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions
Facility strongly values a flexible, team‑oriented culture, with travelers expected to integrate and function as core staff
Floating is required, including the possibility of floating to sister campuses
