Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Sigourney, Iowa. This travel assignment starts on 08/24/2026 and runs for Weeks at a Critical Access Hospital. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg setting, including monitoring vitals, assessing conditions, and responding to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and routine treatments per physician orders
- Document care in the electronic medical record and ensure accurate handoffs during shift changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement plan of care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care after discharge

Requirements

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
