Intervention Specialist

Location: 2020 Newburg Rd., Louisville, KY 40205 Shift Second Shift (United States of America) Essential Functions Provide information regarding assessment to all disciplines Provide input into intervention plans in conjunction with appropriate discipline Communicate effectiveness of interventions to appropriate discipline Maintain orderly and appropriately stocked supplies and activities on unit Facilitate implementation of daily activity schedule in conjunction with Program Coordinator Provide training of intervention plans to various disciplines involved in patient care Monitor implementation of intervention plans and provide feedback regarding plan implementation Provide direct behavior therapy and active treatment programming on an individual and/or group basis including proactive strategies and crisis intervention and model programming for all team members Assist with maintaining a structured milieu Collect, record, and enter data on observable patient behavior Accept participation in special projects and appointments to hospital committees as appropriate Assist with floor coverage and other unit duties, as necessary Other Functions Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times Perform other duties as assigned Shift Requirements Shift Length: 10 hours 4 shifts per week Education High school diploma or GED/equivalent (required) Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field (preferred) Experience Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human services required for applicants without a Bachelor’s Degree Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
