Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP) Remote, US, (Eastern Time Preferred) WE WILL NOT BE USING AGENCIES ON THIS ROLE This is an opportunity to play a key role in building a next-generation AI data platform that will support large-scale data processing and enterprise AI services. You will take ownership of the cloud platform foundation, helping to create a secure, scalable, and highly automated environment that enables long-term business impact. The team is focused on building secure, reliable, and scalable platforms that support innovation while maintaining strong governance and operational excellence. The Role and Deliverables
Rate: $65-$80 per hour
Utilization: 40 hours per week
- Own the design, provisioning, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across development, QA, and production environments. GCP
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services, APIs, and data processing workflows.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, network security, and automated security testing.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability tooling to support platform operations.
- Create operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to support long-term platform ownership.
- Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Advanced capability with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience with Docker, containerized workloads, and cloud-native compute services.
- Proven ability to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, IAM, and secrets management.
- Experience implementing observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Familiarity with cross-cloud environments and integrations.
- Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or large-scale data platforms is advantageous.
