Johnson & Johnson seeks a Manager of Source Quality Supply Base Optimization to lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers supporting MedTech supply chain initiatives. The role combines people leadership with strategic technical oversight of supplier qualification, product transfers, consolidation, and network optimization programs across multiple global locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop team of Supplier Quality Engineers on optimization programs
- Direct Source Quality strategy for product transfers, supplier exits, and consolidation initiatives
- Establish team priorities, performance expectations, and accountability for deliverables
- Oversee quality risk management, compliance requirements, and transfer execution
- Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Regulatory on supply continuity objectives
Requirements
- People leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams
- Expertise in supplier quality, qualification, and process controls
- Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and purchasing controls
- Project management experience with product and process transfers
- Technical capability in risk assessment and validation strategies
- Ability to partner across cross-functional supply chain and manufacturing teams
- Experience in supplier consolidation, development, or supply base optimization
