Administrative Assistant Unpaid Internship

Description ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES The Administrative Assistant (Summer Intern) provides general administrative and coordination support to Blackwell, Inc.'s Human Resources and Operations Teams. This role is designed to support daily office functions, assist with documentation and recordkeeping, and help ensure smooth communication and coordination across departments. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. This is a seasonal, full-time position with an expected end date in August 2026 , with the potential for continued employment based on company needs and performance. The Administrative Assistant help keep daily operations running smooth while providing valuable support to HR and Operations. This role offers meaningful exposure to real-world business operations and serves as a potential entry point for future opportunities with Blackwell, Inc.

- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Sort and distribute mail and assist with outgoing correspondence
- Schedule appointments and support calendar coordination as needed
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Operations departments with various coordination efforts
- Complete employment verification requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Audit new employee profiles for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with documentation and recordkeeping , including filing and organization of personnel and operational records
- Support special projects as assigned
- Perform other general office administrative duties to support overall company operations
- Full-time, seasonal position
- Expected duration through August 2026
- Potential to convert to a paid position if business needs and performance warrant
- Monday - Friday, 9A-5P
- High school diploma or currently pursuing post-secondary education preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on assignments
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, Teams, Share Point); willingness to learn company systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Teamwork mindset and adaptability
