PIRTEK San Leandro is looking to hire a Field Service Technician in the San Jose / Santa Clara / Milpitas area to service, assemble and install hoses for our diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies, to name a few. We are looking for applicants with excellent communication and strong customer service skills. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy meeting and working with customers, PIRTEK San Leandro could be an excellent career path. As a PIRTEK San Leandro Field Service Technician, you will be operating out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose-built mobile hose workshop/van and be carrying out service calls in the South Bay area. This provides the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers. Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service van fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.

Responsibilities:

• Service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base
• Carry out service calls in the local area
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically Inclined
• Good selection or the ability to acquire necessary hand tools (Some assistance may be available)
• Good Communication Skills
• Positive attitude
• Self-motivated
• Clean driving record

Compensation: $24.00 - $32.50 per hour
