Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Floating role supporting multiple locations, including Pueblo)

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Varying shifts between 7:00 AM-5:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Prepare and process clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient identity, demographics, and specimen labeling accuracy
• Obtain patient signatures following specimen collection to ensure proper documentation
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Provide professional, compassionate service while creating a positive patient experience
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time while maintaining a safe and professional environment
• Travel to and support multiple Patient Service Center and physician office locations with minimal notice
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong specimen collection and processing skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with a clean driving record, if applicable
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call shifts, and varying locations based on business needs
• Proficiency with keyboarding and data entry
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
