AllTruckJobs is working with Averitt Express to find a qualified Dedicated Company Driver in Montgomery, Alabama!

Competitive Pay:

• Selected routes average between $1,193 - $1,693 per week / $87,000 per year
• Starting Pay: $0.625 cpm
• Mileage: Average 2,000 miles per week
• Stop Pay: $20.75 per stop (average 5-8 stops per week, depending on the route)
• Additional Pay: Detention and breakdown pay available

Freight and Equipment:

• No Touch Freight: Focus on driving while they handle the loading and unloading
• Freight Type: A mix of reefer and dry van loads including food products, miscellaneous goods, and furniture to locations in AL, GA, and Ridgeland, MS
• Reefer Experience Not Required: Training is provided for those new to reefers

• Drivers bid on routes twice a year based on seniority

PAID TRAINING! Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 5 years to go through our 1-week paid training program

Requirements

• Drivers must live within a 75-mile radius
• Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 5 years
• Drivers must have Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
• No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential functions:

• Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive
• Regular predictable attendance
• Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
