Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts | 40 hours per week guaranteed
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, treat, and develop individualized care plans for patients in accordance with Physical Therapy standards of practice
- Provide care across a mixed inpatient and outpatient setting, serving a lifespan population from pediatrics through geriatrics
- Treat a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic post-operative cases (TKA, THA, TSA, etc.) and outpatient neurological conditions
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements
- Float to outpatient clinic as needed and participate in on-call rotation; call-back minimum is 2 hours
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Michigan State Physical Therapy License required
- Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- New graduates will be considered
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Compliance with facility infection control policies, including masking requirements for those who decline flu or COVID vaccination during flu season, is mandatory
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior contract or travel therapy experience
- Experience working in colder climate regions (Midwest, Northeast, or Mountain areas) preferred for winter start dates
- Strong adaptability, resilience, and ability to manage change in a dynamic clinical environment
- Experience with orthopedic post-operative and neurological patient populations
