Snelling Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in Bryan, TX.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and learning how industrial equipment and systems operate. Previous maintenance experience is helpful, but it is not required. The company is open to entry-level candidates who have a strong work ethic, mechanical interest, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.


The Maintenance Technician will assist with routine maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and general facility upkeep. Training and development will be provided for candidates who are motivated to grow their skills.


Responsibilities




• Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of plant equipment and systems


• Help troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs


• Safely use hand tools and power tools such as drills, grinders, saws, and other maintenance equipment


• Assist with equipment installations and general facility maintenance


• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment issues as needed


• Learn to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts usage


• Work with other team members to support production and minimize equipment downtime


• Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean and organized work environment


• Participate in training and cross-training opportunities


• Participate in an on-call rotation as required


Qualifications


• High school diploma or GED


• Experience or interest in mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing, automotive, construction, or similar hands-on work


• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools


• Willing to learn and take direction from experienced team members

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance


• Good attention to detail


• Strong safety awareness


• Ability to communicate and work well as part of a team


• Previous industrial or maintenance experience is preferred, but not required


Physical Requirements


• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds


• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and work in different positions for extended periods


• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights when required


Pay and Opportunity


• $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
