Job Summary
This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to strict infection control and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
- Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance.
- Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste following established protocols.
- Adhere to infection prevention and safety policies consistently.
- Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently to fulfill department needs.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous related experience is advantageous.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
Work Schedule
First shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week, with rotating holiday and weekend duties.
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
