Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) – Upstate New York

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM; 36 or 48 hours per week

Highlights:

• 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neuro beds
• Diverse case mix including neurology, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Experience with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune, and chronic ventilators
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Adult patient population (18 years and older)
• Floating to other units as needed; scrub color is navy blue

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in IMCU/PCU setting
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
• Valid driver's license
