Job Description Job Description Cabinet Shop Team Member (Entry-Level to Experienced) Location: Carol stream, IL Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time considered) Pay: Competitive wages based on experience About Us We are a growing cabinet shop specializing in custom cabinetry and woodworking projects. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and creating a positive work environment. We are currently seeking motivated individuals at all skill levels , from entry-level helpers to experienced cabinet makers, to join our team. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities will vary based on experience level, but may include: * Assisting with cabinet construction, assembly, and installation * Operating woodworking machinery such as table saws, panel saws, sanders, and CNC equipment (training provided if needed) * Measuring, cutting, sanding, and assembling cabinet components * Reading and interpreting shop drawings and plans (experienced roles) * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace * Supporting finishing, hardware installation, and quality control * Following safety guidelines and shop procedures Experience Levels We are hiring for multiple experience levels : Entry-Level / Shop Helper * No experience required * Willingness to learn and strong work ethic * Ability to use basic hand tools or learn quickly Skilled / Experienced Cabinet Maker * Previous cabinet shop or woodworking experience * Ability to work independently on projects * Experience with machinery, layout, and assembly * Ability to read drawings and maintain quality standards Qualifications * Reliable and punctual * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods * Basic math and measuring skills * Strong attention to detail * Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team * Valid driver's license is a plus What We Offer * Competitive pay based on skill and experience * Opportunities for training and advancement * Steady work in a supportive team environment * Modern equipment and a professional shop * Potential overtime (depending on position) How to Apply Apply through ZipRecruiter or contact us directly at We welcome applicants of all experience levels— if you're eager to work and learn, we'd love to hear from you!
