Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Department Associate in Fayetteville, GA. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, operating forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are received efficiently and accurately. In a Receiving Department Associate job, you'll be responsible for:

• Receiving and inspecting inbound shipments for accuracy and damage.

• Verifying quantities, part numbers, and shipment documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.

• Operating reach truck, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts to unload, transport, and store materials safely.

• Performing cycle counts and assisting with inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.

• Using RF scanners and computer systems to receive inventory and update warehouse records.

• Entering and maintaining accurate inventory data using Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems.

• Understanding and accurately working with units of measure (UOM), including cases, reaches, dozens, cartons, and pallets.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe receiving area while following company safety procedures.

• Working closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material flow.

What you'll need:

• Previous experience in a receiving department within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.

• Experience operating reach truck, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts.

• Strong understanding of receiving procedures, inventory control, and cycle counting.

• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse computer systems.

• Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, is a plus.

• Strong math skills with the ability to accurately calculate quantities and verify inventory.

• Knowledge of units of measure (UOM), including cases, reaches, dozens, and other inventory measurements.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

• Availability for an in-person interview in Fayetteville, GA.
