Palliative Care PhysicianLocation: Broward County, FloridaPosition Type: Full-TimeRemote/Virtual Position: NoThe Palliative Care Physician is responsible for overseeing the medical delivery of hospice inpatient services across various care settings, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and hospice inpatient units. This role ensures high-quality clinical care, effective physician supervision, and strong coordination of patient-centered services in collaboration with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary teams.If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:Must be a licensed Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) in the state(s) of practice, with training or experience in caring for chronically or terminally ill patientsFellowship Trained in Palliative CareMaintains active DEA licenseValid driver's licenseStrong knowledge of primary medical care principles.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, including other physicians, facility staff, and office leadershipWorking knowledge of hospice and palliative care, with emphasis on symptom management for terminal illness.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsBoard certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Preferred)Responsibilities:Provide ongoing education and training to inpatient facility staff in coordination with clinical leadership.Participate in monthly leadership meetings with the Medical Director and inpatient clinical leadership.
