Senior Solutions Engineer

We’re partnering with a highly respected, engineering-led IT solutions provider seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer with a Data Center focus to join our team in Bozeman, Montana. This role will provide value for our clients in both pre-sales design and post-sales implementation across virtualization, storage, and data protection.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to build a winning strategy for our clients.
- Perform necessary Pre-Sales technical functions to create systems designs.
- Build Bill of Materials (BoM), create illustrations and diagrams and provide Statements of Work (SoW).
- Relay technical information to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Post-Sales Implementation of systems designed.
- Produce post Implementation project documentation.
- Provide proficient end-user systems administration training (post implementation) of CompuNet installed solutions
- Develop strategic relationships with our key manufacturer Partner SE's.
Required Skills
- Converged and Hyper-Converged (HCI) solutions Experience
- Virtualization design and deployment experience across vSphere or Hyper-V
- Understanding of public and private clouds
- Experience either Veeam, Cohesity, Rubrik, or Disaster Recovery
- Baseline understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server components like DHCP, DNS & PKI
- Fundamentals required for connectivity between data center, hybrid and cloud components
