Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Experience as a school paraprofessional or teacher assistant, especially with exceptional children (EC) populations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in special education preferred
- Understanding of IEPs and the ability to follow individualized learning plans
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to assist in classroom management and implement behavioral strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and physical support to students with disabilities alongside classroom teachers
- Assist in implementing lesson plans, adapting materials as needed
- Support students with personal care needs, mobility, and participation in classroom activities
- Monitor and document student progress
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom setting
- Collaborate with educational staff to promote student inclusion and engagement
