Make a significant difference in the lives of elementary students by supporting their emotional and educational growth in an engaging contract opportunity. This role focuses on delivering responsive and rehabilitative counseling services for children and their families, helping every student access the full range of curriculum and school life. You'll collaborate with educational teams across multiple elementary campuses, allocating your expertise among several sites to impact a wide student population.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related mental health field
• Previous experience as a School Social Worker, School Psychologist, School Counselor, or Mental Health Clinician in a school setting
• Eligible for, or currently hold, certification as a School Counselor (NH 0040), School Psychologist (NH0046), Associate School Psychologist (NH0047), or School Social Worker (NH0049)
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Compassionate, flexible, and eager to contribute to a supportive school environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide both preventative and responsive counseling services to meet student needs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams at various elementary schools (Franklin, Wheelock, Symonds, Fuller)
• Support children and families with strategies to navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges
• Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions
• Serve as a resource for school staff on mental health and behavioral issues
• Advocate for students’ well-being and access to resources
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in line with school and district policies

This contract position is based on a 35-hour workweek from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, facilitating meaningful engagement throughout the academic year.
