Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing Pulse MIG welding to fabricate various custom equipment such as dryers, coolers, feeders, conveyors, shakeouts, screeners, spiral elevators, and heat exchangers. This role requires a true fitter and fabrication expertise, as you will complete work orders from scratch. You will work extensively with blueprints and work orders, utilizing math to ensure accurate measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pulse MIG welding for fabrication of custom equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

• Utilize math skills to determine accurate measurements.

• Complete fabrication work orders from scratch.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

• Experience in MIG or Flux Core welding.

• At least 1 year of fabrication experience.

• Ability to form and weld metal using various techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience within MIG, GMAW, and FCAW categories is preferred.

• Experience reading blueprints and work orders for fabrication is required.

Work Environment

The fabrication shop is exceptionally clean and organized, offering a supportive work environment. There are 4 openings on the Day Shift (Monday through Thursday, 6am-4:30pm; Friday 6am-2:30pm) and 1 opening on the Night Shift (Sunday through Wednesday, 6pm-4:30am; Thursday 6pm-2:30am). The facility is non-climate controlled and provides a canteen, gym, break rooms, and lockers for employee convenience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
