Restoration & Carpet Cleaning Technician

SCM Cleaning & Restoration is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Restoration & Carpet Cleaning Technician .

This is a hands-on, entry-level position . Previous restoration or carpet cleaning experience is helpful but not required . We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, willing to learn, works well with others, and takes pride in doing quality work.

What You’ll Do

As a Restoration & Carpet Cleaning Technician, you will assist with a variety of residential and commercial cleaning and restoration projects, including:

• Carpet and upholstery cleaning
• Water damage cleanup and restoration
• Extraction and drying of water-damaged areas
• Setting up and monitoring drying equipment
• Fire and smoke damage cleanup
• Odor removal and cleaning
• Mold remediation and containment
• Cleaning and sanitizing affected areas
• Moving and protecting furniture and contents as needed
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials when necessary
• Loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintaining equipment
• Following company procedures and safety guidelines
• Communicating professionally with customers and team members
• Taking photos and documenting work performed
• Keeping vehicles, equipment, and job sites clean and organized

Experience

Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.

Previous experience in carpet cleaning, water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, construction, janitorial services, or other related fields is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

IICRC certifications are a plus but are not required.
