Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer General, located in Temple, TX, performs ultrasound procedures in both ambulatory and hospital environments under the general supervision of a Radiologist or physician. This role involves performing high-quality imaging exams according to established protocols to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights 12-hour shifts, Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3x12s, Tue-Thu, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certification, RDMS or RVT certification, 0 years minimum experience, applicable education or degrees, and Texas location
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience at Level I Trauma and Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit facilities with at least 3 years of minimum experience
• Additional Information: The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, maintaining documentation, adhering to safety and infection control policies, and ensuring proper image quality. The role may include serving as a trainer for new team members and taking call as required.
