Job Description Job Description Characteristics of Work The Primary responsibility of this position includes communicating with clients, scheduling appointments, and monitoring the IT Front Desk. This work will include communicating with clients both in person and over the phone. Essential Functions These essential functions include, but are not limited to the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the Agency. Exhibits excellent customer service skills including returning customer calls promptly on time and scheduling follow-up appointments when necessary. Answer phone calls from the dedicated scheduling line and book appointments for services and follow-ups. Greet clients and assist them with booking future appointments. Contact clients two days before their scheduled appointments to remind them of their scheduled appointment appointments. Change appointments for clients and communicate with other departments about changes. Monitor IT Front Desk scheduling system daily. Send reminder cards to patients about upcoming events. Follow up with clients to ask about the level of service they received. Assess emergency appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts. Participates in Agency training as it relates to program operation. Performs other essential duties and assignments as assigned by the Agency or the supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma/GED required with at least 2 years of previous clerical or administrative experience AA Degree Preferred Basic computer programs and processes Excellent customer service skills
