As an OR RN at Novant Health's Rowan Medical Center you'll be trusted to deliver expert care during a range of surgeries. Rowan Medical Center is Novant's fourth largest hospital with 266 beds, serving the Rowan County area since 1936. The ORs here see a variety of cases including ortho, ENT, general, and GYN. This is an ideal role for an experienced PACU RN looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Circulating in the OR
• Patient positioning during surgery
• Ensure equipment is set up properly
• Managing the OR during surgery
• Understand what the procedures are and what equipment is needed by the surgeon

What We're Looking For

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. Two years experience in the OR strongly preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
