Senior User Enablement Analyst

The Data User Enablement Analyst specializes in the enablement leg of our data literacy program by engaging directly with analytics, AI, and data platform users to diagnose and address knowledge and skills gaps. Engagements are intended to be short in nature and focus on non-production support root causes. The role leverages expertise through existing documentation, subject matter experts, vendor resources, and industry best practices. Through this combination, the role facilitates an enterprise data-driven culture by making access to trusted data, insights, and governed data products faster, easier, and more relevant to individual users' contexts. The role also supports adoption of self-service capabilities within the enterprise data ecosystem, including the Data Marketplace and Data Architecture strategy & patterns.

Responsibilities

• Engage data and analytics users across enterprise personas to identify skills, knowledge, and adoption gaps that hinder effective use of data and insights.

• Assess user needs and recommend targeted actions, resources, and learning opportunities to improve data-driven decision-making capabilities.

• Partner with SMEs, Data Literacy team members, and platform stakeholders to provide timely enablement support and resolve user adoption challenges.

• Design and deliver role-based learning experiences, training programs, workshops, and office hours that build analytics, AI, and data platform capabilities.

• Foster and grow user communities through forums, user groups, knowledge-sharing sessions, and other data democratization initiatives.

• Enable business and analytics users to discover, access, and consume governed data products through the enterprise Data Marketplace.

• Provide consultative guidance to users adopting Databricks and Data Architecture strategy & patterns, helping translate business requirements into scalable, governed self-service solutions.

• Partner with Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Platform teams to promote reusable data products and increase access to trusted enterprise data assets.

• Drive adoption of self-service analytics, AI, and enterprise data products by enabling user-centered solutions and enterprise data best practices.

• Identify barriers to self-service data consumption and recommend processes, training, documentation, and platform improvements that enhance user success.

• Define and manage processes, KPIs, and success metrics that measure adoption, utilization, business value, and user maturity across self-service capabilities.

• Capture, quantify, and communicate self-service use cases, adoption trends, and business outcomes to demonstrate value and inform future enablement strategies.

This is not a remote position and will report to our Global Headquarters in downtown Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 7 years of experience with data analytics responsibilities in either a data-related or business org
• 4-6 years of experience in a Data Analysis role
• Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools and techniques
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in working with large datasets and performing predictive analysis
• Familiarity with learning and development techniques and best practices
• BI/Analytics Technologies and Solutions (e.g., Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Oracle BI)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be eighteen years or older

Preferred

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Google Data Analytics)
• Experience with Databricks or similar type of tools
