We are seeking a skilled Assembler with hands-on experience in upholstery fitting and automotive seat assembly. This role involves working with precision and attention to detail to produce high-quality finished seats that meet our production standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit upholstery components to automotive seat frames according to blueprints, patterns, or work instructions
• Install seat covers, cushions, and trim with precision, ensuring proper alignment and fit
• Operate hand tools, air tools, and sewing equipment as required
• Inspect finished seats for defects, making necessary adjustments or repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Work collaboratively with production team members to meet deadlines and quality targets
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience in upholstery fitting and automotive seat assembly
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or assembly instructions
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Familiarity with industrial sewing and fastening tools
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in automotive manufacturing or interior trim production
• Knowledge of different upholstery materials and stitching techniques
