Nurse Practice Specialist - Emergency Department

Responsible for enhancing nursing practice standards and promoting professional development within our hospital through developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing practice standards and protocols. Education Associate's Degree Nursing required Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Master's Degree Nursing preferred Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required Basic Life Support Certification - required Experience Nursing experience 5-7 years required and Specialized (Emergency Department) clinical experience 3-5 years required Demonstrated experience in education preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement methodologies, and healthcare regulations. Extensive clinical experience with a focus on a specialized area within the hospital (e.g., critical care, oncology, etc.). Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills. Strong communication skills both written and oral.
