Director, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting

Responsibilities Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing supervision, leadership, and support to drive high-performance and professional development. Oversee the preparation of all internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable regulatory or contractual requirements. Lead research for technical accounting matters relating to material transactions and contracts. Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with changes in regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and mitigate risks. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit and ensure adherence to audit requirements; address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary. Provide technical guidance to finance and accounting teams on complex accounting issues. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years in accounting and financial reporting with at least the last 5 years in a management or supervisory role over accounting professionals. Current CPA required. Experience at an audit or CPA firm is a plus. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Strong leadership and communication skills.
