Join Allied Universal as a Healthcare Patrol Officer, where you will conduct routine patrols throughout a hospital location, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted locations to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor directions, and support security-related policies and procedures.
• Assist with de-escalation of tense situations, provide reassurance and information to the public, and communicate with staff and/or first responders during medical and non-medical incidents as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
