Receptionist Position Available
Generations at Applewood in Matteson, Illinois, has an opening for a PRN-as needed receptionist.
The ideal candidate will be able to work either 7a-1:30p or 1:30p-8p during the week and weekends when needed.
The pay rate is $16.00 per hour.
We are looking for someone dedicated to friendly, customer service, prior receptionist experience with a big smile, a positive attitude, who is well spoken and has a professional appearance to handle our busy reception area.

Generations at Applewood is a 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing community offering quality healthcare services to residents throughout the Chicagoland area. We are located in Matteson, Illinois, just 30 minutes south of downtown Chicago and minutes from I-57.
Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Welcome and direct visitors, new employees and vendors upon arrival to the facility
- Manage files and tend to office duties, including typing, filing, sorting mail, directing faxes
- Keep lobby safe and tidy
Requirements of the Receptionist:
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Several years experience as a receptionist or in customer service
- Some experience with a multi line phone system
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be tolerant, compassionate and understanding of older adults and families
