Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Mesa Full-Time | Outpatient Pediatrics | Saturday Pay Differential Arbor Therapy is seeking a compassionate and energetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing Mesa clinic. In this full-time role, you’ll provide engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy services that help children strengthen their independence and achieve meaningful developmental goals. You’ll work alongside experienced occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, therapy assistants, and support staff in a collaborative environment where your expertise and professional growth are valued. We offer: Average caseload of 6-8 clients per day Paid documentation time Clinical mentorship and professional development opportunities Collaborative, multidisciplinary team support Individual treatment rooms Spacious indoor sensory play gym Separate client feeding kitchen Employee-led Culture Committee Appreciation activities, wellness initiatives, and team celebrations Milestone recognition program Company-provided logo apparel Opportunities for clinical growth and career advancement Benefits and Perks Competitive medical plan options 100% employer-paid dental and vision coverage Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays 401(k) with a 3% company contribution Continuing education and professional development support 100% employer-paid EOS Fitness membership Additional compensation for regularly scheduled Saturday hours What You’ll Do Provide direct pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans designed to support meaningful functional outcomes Deliver engaging, play-based interventions addressing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, regulation, and developmental skills Monitor client progress and communicate relevant updates to the supervising Occupational TherapistComplete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with OTs, COTAs, SLPs, SLPAs, PTs, PTAs, caregivers, and other members of the care team Educate and support families through home-program recommendations and ongoing communication Create a positive, compassionate, and welcoming experience for clients and families Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Arizona Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one before employment Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it before employment Passion for working with children and supporting families Strong communication, organization, documentation, and teamwork skills Pediatric experience or an interest in early intervention, developmental disabilities, and sensory integration Feeding therapy experience or interest is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply Working Conditions This position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting while providing direct pediatric therapy services.
