Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting one to two schools in St. Louis, MO. This rewarding onsite contract assignment runs through the end of the 2026-2027 school year and starts as soon as possible. You’ll primarily serve at an elementary campus, with the opportunity to provide expertise to another nearby school as needed. Flexibility and adaptability are valued, ensuring both students and staff receive the best possible support.

You’ll join a collaborative educational environment where approximately 3,400 minutes of speech services are required weekly—many students use AAC devices or are non-verbal, creating an opportunity to build critical communication bridges.

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong familiarity with AAC devices and supporting non-verbal students
• Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student needs
• Flexibility in assignment and caseload management

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to assigned students
• Develop and implement IEPs with appropriate goals and services
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support professionals
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports
• Adapt quickly to shifting caseloads or sites based on student needs
• Complete all district required credentialing, including fingerprinting and technology forms prior to start
