Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 18 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 18 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and a GA or compact RN license.Details\n \n Pre/Post care unit supporting Cath Lab and EP departments\n Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 9:30 to 20:00\n Every other weekend required\n No formal call requirement, though some late days may occur\n Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed\n 1:4 patient ratio\n Epic charting system experience preferred\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (GA or Compact) required\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications required\n Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required\n Previous travel nursing experience required, unit does not accept first-time travelers\n Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred\n Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition/management, and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition\n Experience with pre/post cath lab procedures, sheath pulls, and pre/post op patient care\n Familiarity with TR band, glucometer, and iStat equipment\n Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols\n Additional Information\n \n Provide pre and post procedural care for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology patients\n Administer pre-op medications and monitor patients throughout the procedural process\n Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)\n Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, must be finalized prior to submission\n No RTO permitted during orientation week\n Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate\n Previous perm, per diem, or FCSS employees must be separated from all facilities within this health system for one full year before returning as a traveler\n Travelers who cancel or are marked DNR at one facility must complete a successful assignment elsewhere before reapplying\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-753117.
