Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Job Summary Seeking a qualified Endoscopy/GI RN to provide direct patient care in the Endoscopy/GI Lab setting. This role involves preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during endoscopic examinations, and providing post‑procedure care. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including reviewing medical history and educating patients about the procedure. Administer pre‑procedure medications as ordered. Monitor vital signs and patient condition during and immediately after procedures. Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing necessary instruments and supplies. Provide post‑procedure care, including recovery monitoring and patient education for discharge. Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in the electronic health record. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly and effectively. Schedule / Shift 40 weekly hours. On Call Requirement Weekdays: 1630 - 0700. Weekends: Saturday and Sundays, 24‑hour shifts. Weekend Requirement Every fourth weekend. Holiday Requirement Any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift. Required Qualifications Must have in‑room procedural experience. Certifications BLS ACLS Experience Endoscopy/GI Lab experience. EMR / Systems Experience with electronic charting systems.
