This position is part of the Kentucky Department of Parks and provides the opportunity to maintain the park's facilities and amenities. Key Responsibilities Performs general maintenance of facilities and equipment General skillset in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance Work on special projects to upkeep, restore, and rejuvenate the park Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Analytical thinking Time management Teamwork Ability to work under pressure Communication skills Minimum Requirements High school graduate Four years of experience in maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems Experience or training can substitute for education or experience on a year‑for‑year basis Must be 18 years of age Working Conditions May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty‑four hours a day.
