Parallel is a brand agency helping organizations build stronger brands through strategy, identity design, digital experiences, and marketing. We're looking for a Project Manager to lead client relationships, manage integrated projects, and ensure clear communication, strong collaboration, and exceptional delivery across every engagement.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Antonio, Texas.

The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients while guiding projects from initiation through delivery. This role is equal parts relationship manager, project leader, and strategic partner-bringing clients and internal teams together, maintaining momentum, and ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.

You'll manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, leading day-to-day communication internally and externally, coordinating cross-functional teams, and proactively addressing challenges before they become roadblocks. You'll be responsible for keeping work organized, on schedule, within scope, and aligned with each client's goals.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
• Lead client meetings, project kickoffs, status calls, presentations, and other project-related conversations
• Manage branding, marketing, digital, and creative projects from initiation through delivery
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, task assignments, and deliverables within the agency's project management platform
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across strategy, creative, digital, production, and external partners
• Translate client goals and feedback into clear project briefs, actionable next steps, and organized workflows for internal teams
• Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, hours, and priorities to ensure work remains aligned with project expectations
• Anticipate risks, competing priorities, scope changes, and potential delays while proactively developing solutions
• Communicate project updates, decisions, recommendations, and next steps clearly to clients and internal teams
• Review deliverables for accuracy, quality, completeness, and client readiness before presentation
• Coordinate project estimates, approvals, invoicing information, and scope changes in partnership with agency leadership
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and provide additional support based on evolving client needs
• Maintain organized project documentation, meeting notes, client feedback, approvals, and supporting resources
• Contribute to improving project management processes, templates, and workflows that strengthen team efficiency and the client experience

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in project management, account management, client services, marketing, or a related field, preferably within a creative or marketing agency
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and multiple concurrent projects
• Strong project management skills with the ability to keep schedules, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholders aligned
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable style
• Confidence leading client conversations, meetings, presentations, and project discussions
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with outstanding attention to detail
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to identifying needs, resolving challenges, and maintaining project momentum
• Ability to translate client goals and feedback into clear direction for cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with project management platforms and Google Workspace
• Collaborative and service-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences
• Understanding how to use AI as a tool for improving efficiency and documentation while recognizing that it is not a substitute for thoughtful communication, sound judgment, or effective task management

Nice to Have

• Experience in a branding, integrated marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across strategy, creative, digital, and production
• Familiarity with project budgeting, estimates, forecasting, resource planning, invoicing, and profitability
• Experience identifying opportunities to expand or strengthen client partnerships
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, project management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, preferred
