Schedule: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm; 4 days of 10 hour shifts (one weekday off per week)We offer competitive pay ranging from $17.25 - $21.05 per hour based on education and experience.Responsibilities:Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the childrenMaintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestonesEnsure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelinesQualifications:Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is requiredRelated college-level early education course work or CDA is required1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferredAssociate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferredDemonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is requiredFlorida Care Provider Clearinghouse Background Screening 45 hours required (depending on in-state experience per DCF guidelines)Be part of a community where people grow, futures are shaped, and lives are changed.
